Born in Oxford, Edu Hawkins is a UK-based photographer who specialises in music photography. Hawkins has photographed several different genres of music – from Rock & Pop to Contemporary Free Jazz and World Music.

Having completed a History of Art Degree at the University of Leeds, Hawkins worked with David Redfern,  labelled ”the greatest jazz photographer in the world” by Buddy Rich.

Hawkins has gone on to photograph a variety of venues and events both nationally and internationally, from the Royal Albert Hall to The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
